City of Heroes FREE Standalone Character Editor
If you've ever wanted to check out one of NCSoft's other games, they've released a standalone City of Heroes Character Editor as a free download. Link goes to story on 1up.com with direct-download link and instructions on running it in english. Get it while you can.

I'll probably be making CoH toons for the next few weeks...I've heard a lot about the character creation system in that game and now I can check it out for free. Probably won't be enough to get me to buy it, since I prefer my monthly fees to be non-existent...but it'll be fun. FYI, it's a 200MB download. Just sayin'. |

It would be pretty cool if Guildwars had a basic char creation like it is now and a more advance system like City of Hero's/Villans.
It Gets very indepth! |

Warning: Creating heroes with this program is going to make you want to buy the game. Badly.
I probably spent the last hour or so creating just one character. The level of customization is just sick. Screenshots Whichever marketeer decided it would be a good idea to release a stand-alone character creator is a friggin' genius. This definitely makes me want to play the character, now that I've spent the time creating her. If it weren't for those monthly fees...but still... Anyone else actually try this out? |
